When you go on our website, you’ll see that we have a number of awards and recognition, not only our individual attorneys but the law firm itself. LaMarca Law Group P.C. prides itself on being a member of a number of organizations that require peer review for membership. That means that your fellow professionals recognize you as a stalwart in the profession, as someone who has dedicated yourself to the above-and-beyond ordinary practice of law.
At LaMarca Law Group, P.C., we have a number of attorneys who are Board Certified. We take that certification very seriously. Being Board Certified means that you have gone above and beyond in what is required in the practice of law. That you’ve had additional education, additional commitment to trial practice and therefore you’ve gotten that recognition. An important organization in trial practice in Iowa is the Iowa Association of Justice. Over the years, our firm has been stalwarts in assisting that organization, participating in that organization, helping it financially. I’ve served as its president. I served on the Board of Directors for over 12 years. James Biscoglia in our office is on the Board of Trustees in that organization. He’s been on a number of key committees. Gary Mattson sits on the Political Action Committee And Trust for that organization.
This is really making the practice of trial law into a greater profession that’s above and beyond the ordinary practice of law. This organization reaches out and helps all attorneys who are engaged in trial practice be all that they can be and to elevate their level of professionalism above and beyond what you learn in law school.
