A two-vehicle accident in Indianola, Iowa on December 15 caused the death of one individual and injuries of two others, The Des Moines Register reported.
According to statements by Captain Brian Sher of the Indianola Police Department the next day, the collision of two cars on Highway 55 on the north side of Indianola resulted in the death of 33-year-old Des Moines resident Jimmy Johnson. The accident occurred around 7 p.m.
Johnson was traveling in a car heading south along the highway as a passenger. The driver was 24-years-old.
The accident was caused by another vehicle that hit their car from the rear side, operated by a 54-year-old person, whose name and place of origin police authorities have yet to reveal to the public.
Both drivers were injured in the incident.
