A Fremont man was injured in an Iowa car accident Thursday morning.
According to officials with the Iowa State Patrol, the accident occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Interstate 680 and Interstate 29 in Council Bluffs. Police say 68-year-old Edgar Leu was attempting to exit onto I-29 when he lost control of his vehicle. Leu’s vehicle slid across the exit ramp to the roadside ditch, where it rolled several times, police say.
According to the accident report, Leu was partially ejected from his vehicle in the accident. He was transported by medical helicopter to Creighton University Medical Center for treatment. No information on the nature or extent of his injuries was available.
