Three drivers are dead in a three-vehicle accident involving two trucks and a van, according to Iowa State Patrol deputies.
The crash happened on Iowa Highway 2 around 8 AM Tuesday, around four miles east of Corydon.
A 56-year-old woman, a 59-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man were killed in the crash.
Police believe that the 59-year-old man was headed eastbound on Highway 2 at the same time that the 56-year-old woman was westbound, with the 24-year-old behind her. The 59-year-old’s truck then jumped the center line and struck both of the other vehicles. Two of the three vehicles burst into flames.
Medical personnel pronounced all three drivers dead at the scene.
