Two killed in single-vehicle crash

According to authorities, two people were killed during a one-vehicle crash in Grand Junction late Friday night.

The Iowa State Patrol said the 37-year old driver and his 23-year-old passenger were killed after the driver lost control and the car swerved from the roadway and entered a ditch, striking a drainage culvert. It then flipped over and came to rest on its top.

The accident happened a little after 11 PM on Friday on 230th Street east of T Avenue.
