Bremer County authorities this week filed a juvenile delinquency petition of vehicular homicide against a 17-year-old teenager from Clarksville in connection with a March 21 drunk driving accident.
Investigators from the sheriff’s office were able to determine that the 17-year-old had been drinking alcohol prior to the crash that killed his 18-year-old classmate and friend who was riding as a passenger in the vehicle.
The teenager’s attorney was unavailable for comment Tuesday.
