An Iowa teenager was killed in a car accident Monday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Highway 63 near Columbia.
The accident was the result of one vehicle that was trying to change lines but nearly hit another car. To avoid the other vehicle, the driver lost control of her vehicle, causing her vehicle to overturn. The vehicle finally came to stop on the shoulder.
As a result of the accident, three of the passengers were ejected from the car. When medical officials arrived, the injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
