Man killed in a Spencer, Iowa car accident

A man was killed in a Spencer, Iowa traffic accident Tuesday. According to police reports, the crash occurred at the 2900 block of Highway Boulevard. 

The crash apparently occurred when a car heading south lost control and crossed the median. It then hit another vehicle coming in the wrong direction. When medical officials arrived at the scene, they took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
