A woman from northern Iowa received a suspended sentence and probation nearly two years after she caused a car accident that killed one of her passengers.
The accident occurred in August 2008 near Marble Rock. According to court reports, the woman was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the accident occurred. She was originally charged with vehicular homicide.
