While many post offices are being forced to close down, one post office nearly went out with a bang Tuesday. An exploding mail bomb in east Visalia injured one man.
The bomb was the first of its kind in the United States since the 1990s, according to a post office report. Investigators said the U.S. post office system receives numerous improvised explosives each year but is usually able to identify and disarm the bombs.
In this case, however, Aaron Mustin received minor injuries from the bomb and was treated at a nearby hospital.
