Motorcycle Rider Killed in Crash

On Thursday, a motorcycle and a pickup truck were involved in an accident in Jefferson County. The motorcycle was eastbound on Libertyville Rd near Highway 1 when it ran into the passenger side of a truck making a left turn around 8:40 pm.

The 17-year-old driver of the pickup truck was uninjured in the crash. The motorcycle rider was killed in the collision. Police are still investigating the incident. No one else was injured.
