A Missouri professor died from injuries suffered in a bicycle accident Monday night. An avid cyclist, Donald Myers was a professor of engineering management at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Participating in an annual bike race, the professor crashed the bike and sustained a head injury after he lost control of the bike coming down a hill. He was rushed to University Hospital in Iowa City, but emergency medical officials said he never regained consciousness.
