An officer was injured when his car was struck by a drunk driver Saturday. According to police reports, the accident occurred while the officer was writing a ticket for another drunk driver.
Neither drunk driver was injured in the wreck, but the officer received a cut under his eye. The officer’s car and the drunk driver’s car were also damaged in the wreck.
