Bus and car collide, two injured

|

An Iowa State University bus collided with a small white car, causing both drivers to incur serious injuries Monday afternoon. The accident occurred at the intersection of Sixth Street and University Boulevard with the bus traveling west and the car driving east.

When police and medical officials arrived at the scene, they took the two drivers to the Mary Greeley Medical Center. The other passengers in the bus and the car apparently did not sustain any injuries.

According to some people who witnessed the accident, the driver of the bus attempted to avoid the small car, which apparently drifted into the wrong lane.
